On March 13, 2018 CEC Chairman Mr. Mazahir Panahov met with the delegation of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

After greeting the delegation and deputy from Portugal Ms. Nilza de Sena, member and coordinator of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed his gratefulness of the meeting held on the eve of Presidential elections and emphasized on the significance of relationship between the CEC prominent international organizations and its different bodies. He noted that the study of international experience is crucial in organizing election practice.

Ms. Nilza de Sena thanked for warm welcome and inquired about election system in Azerbaijan, the activity principles of election commissions also the implemented works on preparations for presidential elections. CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov replied to the questions of guests and spoke about the activities to be carried out with the aim of holding free, fair and transparent elections and informed the delegation on the implemented large-scale education program.

During the meeting, they shared their opinions on other issues of mutual interest.
