The Central Election Commission (CEC) held a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on March 10, 2018. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated March 7, 2018 were approved.

Later, the issue of including voters in the lists on the constituencies in the cases when the voting is organized outside the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Presidential Elections appointed to April 11, 2018 was considered and relevant election constituencies were determined.

Commission also considered the issue on the registration of candidacies in Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to April 11, 2018. After the discussions the candidacies to the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan of Faraj Ibrahim Guliyev nominated by the National Revival Movement Party, Hafiz Alamdar Haiyev nominated by the Modern Musavat Party and Razi Gulamali Nurullayev nominated by the initiative group of "Frontier’s initiative group” were approved.

Later, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were amended at the Commission session.

Current issues were also considered at the session attended by authorized representatives of the social parties and the nominees to the Presidency, the representatives of international observation mission, as well as the representatives of mass media.
