The Central Election Commission (CEC) held a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on March 7, 2018. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated March 6, 2018 were approved.

Later, the issue on the registration of candidacies in Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to April 11, 2018 was considered. The candidacies to the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan of Zahid Maharram Oruj nominated on own initiative, Araz Mammad Mubariz Alizadeh nominated by the Social Democrat Party and Gudrat Muzaffar Hasanguliyev nominated by the Whole Azerbaijan Popular Font Party in the Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to April 11, 2018 were approved upon the discussion Commission members.

During the session the authorised representatives presented by the Citizen and Development Party were registered.

Current issues were also considered at the session attended by mass media representatives.
