The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) held a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on November 15, 2017. 

Firstly, a presentation ceremony was held regarding the awarding of CEC members Shaitdin Serdar Aliyev and Nizami Huseyn Nadirov with the Orders "For service to the motherland” of the second grade for their active participation in the socio-political life of the country according to the Orders of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated October 18, 2017. Having stated that the high esteem by the head of state was welcomed with gratitude by CEC Chairman, Mr.Mazahir Panahov presented the orders to the owners on behalf of the President during the event. 

Later, the session minute of the Commission, dated July 28, 2017 was approved.

The issue on the publication of the book on the election history was considered at the session and adopted after it had been put to vote upon the discussion of the Commission members. 

Therewith, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs) were amended.

Current issues were also considered the session attended also by mass media representatives.
