The Central Election Commission (CEC) held a session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on April 7, 2017. Firstly, the session minutes by the Commission, dated September 21 and October 11, 2016, as well as March 6, 2017 were approved.

Later, the issue on making amendments to some normative acts was considered and relevant amendments were adopted upon the discussion of the Commission members.

Therewith, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs) were made changes.

During the discussion of the current issues the update of the voters’ lists was focused on and mentioned that the wide-scale process that had started since the beginnings of January would be finalised in the ends of May. The update of voters’ lists is still carried on.

The state of submitting annual financial reports of 2016 to CEC by political parties was also discussed at the Commission session.

The session was widely broadcasted by mass media.
