CEC Chairman met with Turkish ambassador

On November 30, Mr. Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman met with Erkan Ozoral, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey.

Having greeted the representative of the friendly and brotherly countries, Chairman Mr. Panahov congratulated him on his appointment and wished successes. CEC Chairman also underlined the special importance focused on close cooperation of the Central Election Commission with international organizations and diplomatic representatives of foreign countries, as well as with the Embassy of Turkey and expressed confidence that these relations would continue to develop in the future.

Ambassador Erkan Ozoral thanked for warm welcome and also noted that he was honored to start work as an ambassador and will do his best for further deepening of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries. At the same time the Turkish diplomat has expressed his satisfaction on the cooperation between the Central Election Commission with his country's highest electoral authority and said that he will do his best for the development of relations.

At the meeting they discussed the partnership between the organizations and shared opinions on mutually interesting issues.
