CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov welcomed the delegation of the European People’s Party who are on official trip to the country, led by De Santa Ana Fernandez to observe the nationwide voting (referendum) to be held on September 26, 2016. 

Having greeted the European international observers, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed his gratitude of the meeting. He spoke about the effective cooperation between the organizations and underlined the irreplaceable role of the relationship in the development of the election and referendum practice in the country.

The head and members of the delegation thanked the CEC Chairman for the warm welcome and were interested about the latest preparations. Having responded to the visitors’ questions, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov informed on the steps put for ensuring citizens’ constitutional rights more efficiently. 

Later, the meeting continued with the discussions of the perspectives for fruitful cooperation and other interesting issues.
