The delegation of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly who is on official trip to the country to observe the nationwide voting (referendum) on September 26, 2016 met with Mr. Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman on September 25, 2016. 

After the welcome of the delegation of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly who usually took a close participation in the observation of the election (referendum) processes conducted in the country, Mr. Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman expressed his gratitude of the meeting on the eve of referendum. Chairman also underlined the special importance focused on mutual beneficial cooperation of the Central Election Commission with international organizations. 

The members of delegation thanked for warm welcome and were interested in the works undertaken for projects and final preparations regarding the nationwide voting (referendum). Chairman Mazahir Panahov informed international observers on steps put for and wide-scale projects carried out for the conduct of free, fair and transparent referendum.

During the meeting they shared their opinions on other issues of mutual interest.
