The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted a session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on September 10, 2016. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated September 7, 2016 was approved.

Later, the appeal submitted to CEC regarding the conduct of "exit-poll” in the nationwide voting by the "Opinion” Monitoring Centre was considered. After the appeal put to the session upon the relevant investigation in the manner and time period defined by law had been discussed, a decision was adopted to accredit the "Opinion” Monitoring Centreto hold "exit-poll”.

During the session, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were made changes by the CEC decision.

Current issues were also considered at the session attended by the representatives of mass media.
