The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) conducted the following session headed by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on April 29, 2016. Firstly, the session minutes dated November 17, November 18, November 23, 2015 and April 15 and 16, 2016 were approved by the Commission.

Later, Supervision and Audit Service was established under CEC to ensure the control of proper registration and usage of the election funds and sources of entrance of the funding and a Commission member was appointed head of the Service.

The composition of the Press Group functioning under CEC was also amended at the session.

During the Commission session the issue on registration of authorized representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party and Azerbaijan Hope Party in the repeat Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Aghdash Con.EC # 90, appointed to June 18, 2016 was considered and the persons presented by the foregoing political parties were registered.

Current issues were also discussed at the session attended by media representatives.
