Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) met with the CEC delegations of Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Georgia, Kyrgyzystan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan who are on official visit in the Republic of Azerbaijan to monitor the Elections to the Milli Majlis on November 1 of this year at the Central Election Commission (CEC) on October 31, 2015.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed his gratitude of the meeting upon the welcoming the delegations of superior election institutes of foreign countries. CEC Chairman spoke about the role of bilateral effective cooperation between the election organizations in improvement of the election practice, thereby noting on the importance of this relationship in the development of the electoral system in every country.

Delegation members thanked CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov for warm welcome. Chairman Mazahir Panahov informed the visitors on top-level preparation towards the elections, steps put for and wide-scale projects carried out for the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.
