Lidia Yermoshina, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus who is on official visit in the Republic of Azerbaijan to monitor the Elections to the fifth-call Milli Majlis met with Chairman Mazahir Panahov on October 30, 2015.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed his gratitude of the meeting in the eve of the Elections to the Milli Majlis upon the welcoming the visitors. Chairman of the Commission also underlined the special importance given to the partnership with the superior election institutes of a great deal of different countries by the electoral body headed by him.

Lidia Yermoshina, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus thanked both for the invitation and warm welcome, also was interested in the latest preparation works. CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov replied to the partner’s questions and informed on the steps put for effective guarantee of active suffrage and eligibility of the country citizenship.

During the meeting they also shared opinions on the issues of mutual interest.
