Central Election Commission started trainings for the members of Precinct Election Commissions
The
Central Election Commission started trainings for the members of Precinct
Election Commissions within the second phase of large-scale project
aimed at the education program of
lower election commissions regarding the Elections to the Milli Majlis of the
Republic of Azerbaijan on November 1, 2015.
According to the program compiled by the Training Group
of the Central Election Commission trainings are
held in small groups – with participation of 35-40 members of Precinct Election
Commissions in every training session at
the administrative premises of the existing Constituency Election Commissions.
During the trainings held through using visual aids the members of Precinct
Election Commissions are informed
thoroughly on E-day procedures including the voting process, exceptional cases
in the election process, vote counting, completion of protocols, during practical
workshops discussions on various topics are held and the questions of
participants are replied. During trainings every
lower election commission member are provided with "Election Day Guide”, a
protocol sample on the voting results and some other necessary draft documents
prepared by CEC.
Trainings aimed at increasing professional experience
and developing election-related skills and abilities of lower election
commission members will last for some weeks according to the number of Precinct
Election Commissions on the election constituencies and generally, more than 32000
lower election commission members will participate.
