The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on January 7, 2015.

Firstly, the issue on terminating the deputy authorities of Asef Haji Hajiyev, deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan was considered. It was stated that having applied to CEC, the deputy of the Milli Majlis had requested to terminate his deputy authorities due to his election as a secretary general of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization. Basing on the item # 5 of I part of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commission adopted a decision on termination of deputy authorities of Asef Haji Hajiyev upon his appeal to CEC.

Later, the appeals submitted to CEC regarding the Municipal Elections held on December 23, 2014 were considered. Relevant decisions were adopted after the appeals had been considered upon detailed and fair investigation. After the Commission members had discussed the issues, it was decided to annul the voting results on the polling station # 4 of Masalli village Con.EC # 71 in the elections to Arkivan municipality by being regarded invalid.
