Baku, October 9. Presidential elections in Azerbaijan have been organized in line with international standards. We have not witnessed any law violations in the polling stations, Chairman of the Central Election of the Russian Federation Vladimir Churov said at the meeting with the Chairman of the Central Election of Azerbaijan Mazahir Pahanov.

According to the Independent Press Center, Panahov briefed his Russian counterpart on the preparation for the elections and organization of the voting, saying all steps have been undertaken to ensure transparency of the process. According to him, every condition has been created for the observers. At the same time, web cameras were installed in 20 percent of polling stations to enable any person to watch the voting process in the polling station online from the beginning to the end.

Churov stated that he became familiarized with the election-related preparations, saying, "We visited a number of constituencies and polling stations. The elections were organized perfectly. Neither observers nor journalists face problems in their activities. The voting is going on normally. Our first impression is positive.”
