Central Election Commission holds its session
Mazahir Panahov chaired the session of the Central Election Commission on October 7.
According to the Independent Press Center, the CEC first endorsed the protocol of its October 3 session.
Afterwards, 11 persons presented by the Umid Party were registered as authorized representatives, 10 ones as advocates of the party.
The Commission also registered an advocate of the Social Democratic Party.
At the session the registration of presidential candidate Jamil Hasanli’s authorized representative was cancelled at his own request with his badge announced as being invalid.
The Central Election Commission also reviewed the incoming appeal. The appeal was rejected as being groundless.
The CEC also considered current issues.
Representatives of international organizations and mass media also attended the session.
