"Guide for the police" has been published

Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan still carries
on the program of awareness raising of election actors in the Presidential
elections. The Commission has prepared and published "Guide for the
participation of the police in the Presidential elections”. The text of the
guide has been prepared jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the
Republic of Azerbaijan. The booklet is considered for use of the police during
the Presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 9, 2013. The
edition contains the duties of the police during pre-election campaign, in the
processes of transporting and protecting official election documents and the
actions to be implemented while fulfilling their service responsibilities on
the voting day. The guide has been prepared in comply with the Constitution and
the Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Law "On the police” and
normative acts approved by CEC.
