Central Election Commission (CEC) conducts its session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on 14 October 2010.
Firstly, the issue on the appeal of the organization intending to hold "exit poll” in Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to 7 November 2010. CEC adopted decision on the registration of "ELS” Indepenedent Investigation Center.
At the session, the appeals submitted to CEC related with Elections to the Milli Majlis were considered.
 
By implementing 4 of the appeals, the relevant Con.EC was annulled and decision was adopted on the registration of the applied candidates.
 
As the conflict subject had been settled in the investigation process of an appeal, this appeal was terminated to be considered, investigation period of 6 appeals was extended, decision was adopted on sending 4 of them to relevant Con.ECs for consideration on determination and other appeals were not implemented due to groundlessness.
 
At the session of the Commission, current issues were also considered.
At the session, representatives of OSCE Bureau of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and mass media also took part.
