On September 22, Mr. Adam Sterling, advocate on temporary affairs of the United States of America to our country visited Mr.

 

Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Central Election Commission. CEC Chairman who reminded on the friendship and strategic alliance of the USA with Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude of the meeting with the advocate on temporary affairs of this country.

 

 Mr. Adam Sterling who emphasized on close cooperation between the CEC and the US embassy since a long period stated that Azerbaijan is on the eve of very important event and was interested in the condition related with the Elections to the Milli Majlis.

 

 CEC Chairman provided detailed information to the visitor on the requirements of legislation related with the preparation and conduct of elections and the implemented works.

 

During the visit, view exchanges on the cooperation between the CEC and the  US embassy related with the forthcoming elections were conducted.
