Central Election Commission conducted its session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on December 14, 2005.

Firstly, CEC Chairman informed about the Order on the appointment of re-elections in 10 constituencies where the voting results had been considered invalid, signed by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 9, 2005. Later, he reported on the issue on the approval of CEC session minutes dated on October 18, October 19, October 23, October 24, October 26, October 29, November 1, November 4, November 6, November 8, November 9 and November 10, 2005. The Commission approved these session minutes.

Mr. Natig Mammadov, CEC Secretary put the draft of Calendar Plan for basic activities and measures on the preparation and conduct of re-elections to third call Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Binagadi second Con.EC # 9, Surakhani second Con.EC # 31, Nizami second (Ganja) Con.EC # 38, Sumgayit second Con.EC # 42, Sumgayit-Absheron Con.EC # 44, Jalilabad-Masalli-Bilasuvar Con.EC # 69, Gadabay Con.EC # 103, Tovuz-Gazakh-Aghstafa Con.EC # 106, Zagatala Con.EC # 110 and Aghdam village Con.EC # 119 in the discussion of CEC. The Commission adopted decision on the approval of the drat of Calendar Plan as a basis.

At the session, current issues were also considered.

At the CEC session, representatives of IFES (International Foundation for Election Systems), the USA and mass media also took part.
