Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) conducted its session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on 3 November 2009.

Firstly, session minute by the CEC dated on 27 October 2009 was approved. Later, CEC adopted decision on the approval of the authorized representatives of Musavat Party and Liberal Democrat Party in Municipal Elections appointed to 23 December 2009.

At the session, amendments were made in the compositions of Binagadi first Con.EC # 8, Binagadi second Con.EC # 9, Sabunchu third Con.EC # 28, Sabail Con.EC # 29, Gakh Con.EC # 112 and Oghuz-Gabala Con.EC # 117.

At the CEC session, current issues were considered.
At the session, representatives of OSCE Baku office, embassies of the USA and Great Britain, International Foundation for Election Systems (the USA) and mass media also took part.
