The Central Election Commission (CEC) held the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on February 3, 2025.

During the session the appeals filed to CEC in regard with the Municipal elections held on January 29, 2025 were examined. Relevant decisions were adopted regarding the appeals put into the session agenda within the timeframe and manner as defined in the election legislation upon the discussion with the participation of the applicants and interested subjects.

As a result of fully transparent, fair and inclusive investigation of the appeals filed to CEC and the information obtained from different resources, it was decided to consider the voting results invalid in the polling stations # 42, 43, 44, 46 of Imishli Con.EC # 81 and invalidate the elections on Bajirevan municipality on the foregoing Con.EC upon considering the incidents that could not allow to determine voters’ will in those polling stations.

By the Commission decision, the voting results in the polling station # 30 of Nasimi-Sabail Con.EC # 23 were invalidated due the impossibility of determining voters’ will.
