The Central Election Commission (CEC) held the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on December 29, 2024. Firstly, the Commission session minute dated 21 December 2024 was approved.

Later, the issue on making amendments to the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions was considered. Basing on the Election Code, CEC made changes to the structures of Sharur – Sadarak Con.EC # 1, Babek – Shahbuz – Kangarli Con.EC # 3, Sabail Con.EC # 7, Binagadi first Con.EC #  8, Yasamal second Con.EC # 16, Narimanov second Con.EC # 20, Sumgayit fifth Con.EC # 46, Sumgayit – Absheron – Garadagh Con.EC # 47, Shirvan Con.EC # 51, Shabran – Khachmaz Con.EC # 56, Saatli Con.EC #  66, Sabirabad – Shirvan Con.EC # 68, Jalilabad village Con.EC #  72, Imishli Con.EC # 81, Aghjabadi Con.EC # 86, Zerdab – Kurdamir – Ujar Con.EC #  95, Zagatala Con.EC # 112 and Gabala Con.EC # 116.

During the session also attended by media outlets, information on the preparations for the elections was also provided, statistic data on nomination and registration of candidates, therewith, accreditation of observers was announced and current issues were considered.
