The Central Election Commission (CEC) held the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on December 21, 2024. Firstly, the Commission session minute dated 18 December 2024 was approved.

Later, the rule for the text, format, number and preparation of ballot papers in the Municipal elections, appointed to January 29, 2025 was approved. Basing on the requirements of the Election Code, CEC decided to compile 6 052 721(six million fifty two thousand seven hundred and twenty one) ballot papers within the observation of three members in accordance with the representation.

During the session the issue on the registration of authorized representatives of Republic Alternative (REAL) Party, White Party, Future Azerbaijan Party, Justice Party, Union Party, Rights and Justice Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Free Motherland Party, Modern Musavat Party and New Time Party in the forthcoming Municipal elections was considered. The Commission members were reported separately on the relevant appeal of every political party to CEC and the persons presented by the foregoing political parties were registered as authorized representatives.

The structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were made changes and current issues were considered at the session also attended by media outlets.
