The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on December 18, 2024. Firstly, the protocol of the meeting of the Commission on December 13 was approved.

Then, the issue of the form, number and order of preparation of notices for informing voters about the place and time of voting in the municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025 was considered. It was brought to attention that the notice shows the voter's surname, first name and patronymic, as well as the address of the voter and the polling station where he will vote, the place and time of voting, the list of identification documents used in the voting process, and the voting rules are clearly explained with illustrations for the purpose of informing the voters. Following the discussion of the commission members on the notice, it was decided to prepare the 6052721 (six million fifty two thousand seven hundred and twenty one) notice on informing voters about the place and time of voting by printing method.

At the meeting of the Central Election Commission, the issue of registering authorized representatives of the Classical People's Front Party and Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party in the upcoming municipal elections was considered, and the Commission registered the persons presented by the said political parties as authorized representatives.

At the meeting, which was widely attended by representatives of media subjects, information was also given on the progress of preparations for the municipal elections, statistical indicators related to the nomination and registration of candidates were announced, and current issues were reviewed.
