The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on December 13, 2024. The session minute of the Commission dated December 9, 2024 was approved.

Later, the issue on the rules for preparation and number of the final protocols of the election commissions on the results of the voting in the Municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025 was considered. In accordance with the form and text of the of the protocol samples determined by the Central Election Commission, numbered one by one by constituencies and showing their series, consisting of 3 copies and each copy in the form of a booklet made of carbonized paper in different colors for the constituency election commissions according to the number of municipalities where the elections are held and it was decided to prepare them for Precinct Election Commissions according to the number of polling stations where voting is organized. According to the adopted decision, protocols on voting results, as well as 30 unnumbered and non-carbonized paper protocols shall be printed for each of the lower election commissions.

The issue on the registration of authorized representatives of the Justice Party, Law Party, Democracy Party, National Front Party, National Revival Movement Party, "Motherland" Party and Great Azerbaijan Party in the upcoming Municipal elections was discussed at the session. The commission decided to register the persons as authorized representatives presented by the foregoing political parties.

During the session covered by representatives of the media outlets, different affairs and statistical indicators regarding the progress of preparations for the Municipal elections were brought to attention, meanwhile, current issues were discussed.
