The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on September 14, 2024. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated 12 September 2024 was approved.

Then, with the participation of applicants, interested subjects and members of the media regarding the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan held on September 1, 2024, the appeals submitted to the Central Election Commission were reviewed. Following the extensive discussion of the members of the commission, appropriate decisions were made regarding the appeals, which were processed promptly, within the time frame and in the order provided by the legislation, in order to ensure the electoral rights of the citizens more effectively.

As a result of a completely transparent, comprehensive and objective investigation of the incoming applications and information obtained from various sources with the direct participation of the applicants themselves, due to the impossibility of determining the will of the voters and other circumstances that are not in accordance with the election legislation, at the polling station No. 27 of the first electoral district of Sumgait No. 42 the voting results were considered invalid.
