The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on September 11, 2024. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated 10 September 2024 was approved.

Later, the appeals entered the Central Election Commission in regard with the election dispute resolution in the early Elections to the Milli Majlis held on September 1, 2024 were reviewed at the session. In order to ensure more efficient and effective provision of citizens' electoral rights, appropriate decisions were made regarding appeals that were investigated transparently, comprehensively and objectively. After the discussion of the members of the Commission with the direct participation of the interested subjects, the results of the voting on polling stations No. 29 and 32 of Lankaran village constituency No. 78, as well as polling stations No. 2, 14 and 20 of Nasimi-Yasamal constituency No. 22 were considered invalid.

The Central Election Commission has once again declared its determination in the direction of thoroughly transparent, unbiased and detailed investigation of the applications received in connection with the elections and the information obtained from various sources.

At the end of the session, which was promptly covered by members of the media, current issues were also discussed.
