Within the frame of large-scale educational program in regard with the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Central Election Commission launched the following project – practical seminars for specialists on information technologies (IT) of Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs) from August 21, 2024.

The main purpose to carry out the project is the awareness-raising on efficient publication of the Election Day information, thereby ensuring openness and transparency further.

During the seminars the IT specialists of the Con.ECs are provided with detailed information on general function, also the updated and improved opportunities of the State Automated Information System (SAIS) to provide them with direct and practical use of software, as well as, to clarify the issues interesting to the participants.

Within the framework of the seminars, IT specialists are also facilitated in a test mode in practical workshops, using a special program for direct transfer of the information on voter turnout and protocol voting results to CEC on the day of the Elections to the Milli Majlis, thus further improving their practical knowledge, experience and professional skills and also, facilitating to use the SAIS system accurately, promptly and conveniently on Election Day.

Practical seminars for IT specialists of Constituency Election Commissions which plan an important role in strengthening knowledge and professional skills of the IT specialists of Con.ECs are scheduled to last until August 23, 2024.
