The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on August 12, 2024. Firstly, Commission’s session minutes dated August 10 and August 12, 2024 were approved.

Then, the appeal addressed by "Center for Sociological Research" for holding "exit poll” in the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to September 1, 2024 was considered within the manner and timeframe defined by legislation. Following the discussion of the Commission members, a decision was adopted on the implementation of the appeal and registration of the above-mentioned organization for holding "exit poll” in the Elections to the Milli Majlis.

Later in the session, the structure of Khatai-Surakhani Con.EC # 36 was amended.

During the session held with the direct participation of representatives of the international observation mission, a member of the commission with consultative voting right, an observer with special permission, as well as representatives of media outlets, detailed information was given about the preparations for the Elections to the Milli Majlis, intensively ongoing large-scale projects and current issues were also discussed.
