The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on August 10, 2024. Firstly, the Commission’s session minutes dated 8 August, 2024 were approved.

Later, the appeals entered the Central Election Commission regarding the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 1, were also reviewed. It was informed that the received appeals were promptly brought to the meeting after thorough and objective investigation within the period and in the manner prescribed by the legislation in order to more efficiently ensure the electoral rights of citizens. The appeals entered the Central Election Commission regarding the forthcoming elections were reviewed and relevant decisions were adopted at the session attended by the representatives of international observation missions and media outlets.

At the end of the session it was also informed on the development of the processes in connection with the pre-election campaign that started from 9 August and the projects carried out by the Commission in a subsequent and systematic way, as well as, on the statistic data on different affairs, therewith, current issues, statistical indicators of candidates for deputy and observers were announced, and current issues were also discussed.
