The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the next session chaired by Mr.Mazahir Panahov on August 8, 2024. Firstly, the Commission’s session minutes dated 5 August, 2024 were approved.

Later, the issue on the registration of the authorized representatives of Musavat Party for the early Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to September 1, 2024 was considered and it was decided to register the presented persons as authorized representatives.

Afterwards, the issue on making amendments to the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions was considered. By the CEC decision, the structures of Sabail Con.EC # 7 and Garadagh Con.EC # 37 were amended.

The appeals entered the Central Election Commission were also reviewed at the session with the direct participation of the representatives of international observation missions and the interested subjects. Following broad discussion by the Commission members, it was decided to annul the relevant Con.EC decision on the refusal from registering the candidate and to register the candidacy of one more person for the Elections to the Milli Majlis.
