The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on August 1, 2024. Firstly, the Commission’s session minute dated 27 July, 2024 was approved.

Later, it was decided to approve a member with consultative right appointed to CEC by New Azerbaijan Party for the early Elections to the Milli Majlis, appointed to September 1, 2024.

During the session the changes were made to the structures of Nasimi – Sabail Con.EC # 23, Bilasuvar Con.EC # 69 and Goranboy – Naftalan Con.EC # 96.

The appeal entered the Central Election Commission regarding the forthcoming elections was also reviewed at the session attended by the representatives of international observation missions and media outlets.  As a result of extensive discussion of the appeal put in the session agenda by the members of the Commission with the direct participation of the interested subject, a relevant decision was made within the manner and timeframe defined in the election legislation.

During the session it was also informed on the development of the processes in the field of the preparations for the Elections to the Milli Majlis and the projects carried out by the Commission in a subsequent and systematic way, as well as, on the statistic data on different affairs, therewith, current issues were also discussed.
