The Central Election Commission conducted the session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on June 27, 2024.

Firstly, the Commission’s session minute dated 27 May, 2024 was approved. Later, "On the establishment of Aghdara region of the Republic of Azerbaijan" related by the Law of December 5, 2023 the issue on the changes in the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions was considered. After the discussions, the changes were made in the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions - Binagadi second Con.EC # 9, Khazar-Pirallahi Con.EC #13 , Neftchala Con.EC # 61, Saatli-Sabirabad-Kurdamir Con.EC # 65 andJalilabad-Masalli-Bilasuvar Con.EC # 69.. Based on the above-mentioned Law and the requirements of the Election Code, as well as keeping in mind the need to create the most favorable conditions for voters, taking into account local and other conditions the Commission decided to partially change the boundaries and names of electoral constituencies - 96 Goranboy Con EC #96, Tartar-Naftalan-Goranboy Con.EC #97, Agdam city Con EC #118 , Agdam village Con EC #119 and Shusha-Agdam-Khojalı-Khojavand Con EC # 124. According to the decision, the above-mentioned constituencies are called the constituencies - Goranboy-Naftalan Con EC #96, Tartar-Agdara-Goranboy Con EC #97, Agdam-Khojalı Con EC #118, Agdam Con EC #119 and Şuşa-Agdam-Khojavand Con EC #124.

Later, the issue on making amendments to some normative acts of CEC was considered and relevant amendments were adopted.

During the session attended by the representatives of foreign organization and media outlets, the structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were made changes and current issues were also discussed.
