The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on August 16, 2022.

Firstly, the session minute of the Commission, dated 4 August 2022 was approved. Later, the issue on re-approval of the structure and staff units of the CEC Secretariat was discussed. It was informed that the amendments made to the "Regulation on the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission” by the CEC decision dated 4 August 2022 to increase the efficiency of the Secretariat activity necessitated to improve and re-approve the existing structure. Adopting the above-mentioned as a basis, CEC decided to re-approve the structure and staff units of the CEC Secretariat.

During the session broadcasted by media, the structures of many Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs) were also made amendments and current issues were considered.
