The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the following session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on February 18, 2020.

During the session CEC reviewed the appeals filed in connection with the Elections to the Milli Majlis, dated February 9, 2020.The relevant decisions were made after an inclusive discussion, within the manner and time defined in the legislation. Basing on the information from different resources, the Commission annulled the voting results on the PECs # 16, 79 of Kalbajar Con.EC # 123, PECs # 14, 16, 21, 23 and 25 of Imishli Con.EC # 79, PECs # 4, 8 and 9 of Surakhani third Con.EC # 32, PECs # 31 and 35 of Binagadi second PECs # 9, as well as, PECs # 1, 5, 9, 11, 17 and 25 of Sabail Con.EC # 29 where the Elections to the Milli Majlis had been held, upon considering the impossibility of determining voters’ will and the cases contrary ot the election legislation in those polling stations.

Current issues were also considered at the session attended by international observers and mass media.
