The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on December 31, 2019.

Firstly, the appeals filed to CEC regarding the Municipal Elections held on December 23, 2019 were considered. Relevant decisions were adopted concerning the appeals investigated fully, inclusively and fairly to ensure citizens’ election rights more effectively. It was decided to invalidate the elections to Aghdash municipality on Jalilabad-Masalli-Bilasuvar Con.EC # 69 upon the discussion of the Commission members.

During the session attended by the mass media representatives the compositions of some Con.ECs were amended and current issues were also considered.
