The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the following session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on December 26, 2019. Firstly, the session minute ofthe Commission, dated 21 December, 2019 was approved.

Later, the issue on the registration of the authorized representatives of the Citizen and Development Party, the United Party of Azerbaijan and Modern Musavat Party in the Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to February 9, 2020 was considered. After the discussion of CEC Commission members, the persons presented by the foregoing parties were reregistered as authorized representatives.

Later,the CEC considered the appeals in connection with the Municipal Elections on December 23, 2019.The Commission adopted relevant decisions upon investigating the appeals received within the manner and timeframe prescribed by lawto ensure citizens' election rightsmore effectively.

Current issues regarding the Municipal Elections on December 23, 2019 and the Elections to the MilliMajlis, dated February 9, 2020 were also considered at the session attended by the mass media representatives.
