The Central Election Commission (CEC) compiled "Guide for the mass media representatives” within the educational program regarding the upcoming Municipal Elections to be held on December 23, 2019.

The project is targeted at improving further the independent activity of the mass media in the Municipal Elections.

The edition contains detailed information on the publicizing of the election process, awareness-raising of election stakeholders, as well as pre-election campaign process and the duties and roles of the mass media on the voting day.

The Guide is compiled basing on the Constitution, Election Code, Law "On Mass media” of the Republic of Azerbaijan and legal documents approved by CEC.

"Guide for mass media” is available from lower election commissions, as well as on the CEC official webpage (www.msk.gov.az).
