The delegation led by Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC), visited the Republic of Moldova on February 24, 2019 to observe the parliamentary elections in Moldova.

Within the framework of the visit of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Moldova Mrs. Alina Russu, Chairman Mazahir Panahov will meet with his Moldovan counterparts, as well as to discuss prospects for the long-term relations between the two countries Election Commissions and the issues of mutual interest.

It should be noted that the CEC representatives also participate in the observation of the elections by the invitation of the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
