The Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted the following session chaired by Mazahir Panahov on March 2, 2018. Firstly, the session minutes of the Commission dated February 24 and 27, 2018 were approved.

Later, the issue on the rules for the text, format, number and preparation of a notification to inform voters on the time and place of the voting in the Presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to April 11, 2018 was considered at the session. The notification contains the name and address of a voter, the address of the polling station where he/she will vote, time and place of the voting, the list of ID documents to be used in the voting process, as well as the voting rules. It was decided upon the discussion of the Commission members to print 5347803 (five million three hundred and forty seven thousand eight hundred and three) notifications to inform voters on the time and place of the voting.

During the session authorized representatives presented by the approved nominee Tural Feyruz Abbasli were registered regarding the Presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed to April 11, 2018.

The structures of some Constituency Election Commissions were amended at the Commission session.

During the session attended by mass media representatives, current issues were also considered.
