The Central Election Commission (CEC) held a session chaired by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on February 24, 2018. Firstly, the session minute of the Commission dated February 19, 2018 were approved.

Later, the candidacies of Ali Nadir Aliyev, nominated by Citizen and Development Party and Sardar Jalal Mammadov, nominated by Azerbaijan Democrat Party in the Presidential Elections appointed to 11 April, 2018 were approved.

Later, by the decision of CEC, authorized representatives and authorized representatives on financial issues presented by the mentioned political parties were registered.

At the Commission session, the rules for the preparation and number of final protocols on the voting results of election commissions in the Presidential Elections appointed to 11 April, 2018 were approved.

During the session the structures of some Con.ECs were made changes.

Current issues were also considered at the session attended by mass media representatives.
