The delegation led by Sergey Lebedev, Head of CIS Executive Committee who are on official visit in the Republic of Azerbaijan to monitor the Elections to the Milli Majlis on November 1 of this year met with Chairman Mazahir Panahov at the Central Election Commission (CEC) on October 31, 2015.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed his gratitude of the meeting upon the welcoming Sergey Lebedev, Head of CIS Executive Committee and members of the delegation. Chairman Mazahir Panahov also underlined the special importance given to the partnership with international organizations by the superior election commission headed by him.

Sergey Lebedev, Head of CIS Executive Committee thanked for warm welcome and was interested in the latest preparation works. Chairman Mazahir Panahov informed the visitors on the wide-scale projects and steps put for the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.

During the meeting they also shared opinions on the issues of mutual interest.
