The delegation of the Central Election Commission of Malaysia who are on official visit in the Republic of Azerbaijan to monitor the Elections to the Milli Majlis on November 1 of this year met with Chairman Mazahir Panahov at the Central Election Commission (CEC) on October 29, 2015.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov welcomed the visitors and expressed his gratitude of the partnership with the Central Election Commission of Malaysia within the frame of relationship of the organization led by him with different international organizations, also underlined the special importance of these relations in practice exchange.

Malaysian observers thanked for warm welcome and were interested in the electoral system, election legislation and the latest preparation works towards the elections to be held on November 1, 2015. Chairman Mazahir Panahov replied to the visitors’ questions and informed them on the wide-scale projects for the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.

During the meeting they also discussed the perspectives to develop the future partnership between the organizations of these two countries and shared opinions on other issues of mutual interest.
