Central Election Commission started the process of publication of ballot papers regarding the Election to the Milli Majlis.

The publication of ballot papers regarding the Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 1, 2015, was started.
Mr.Mazahir Panahov, chairman of Central Election Commission and Commission membersbecame acquainted with the process of publication of ballot papers in the Press of Milli Majlis. CEC chairman who spoke of process covered by mass media noted that requirements on text, form, and number as well as preparation manner of ballot papers are defined in accordance with the decision of CEC. It is considered to publish 5344431 (five million three hundred and forty four thousand four hundred thirty one) ballot papers in connection with the Elections to the Milli Majlis. The published ballot papers will be immediately submitted from Central Election Commission to the Constituency Election Commissions, from Constituency Election Commissions to the Precinct Election Commissions in terms and manner defined by legislation.
It is necessary to note that period of candidates’ registration regarding the Election to the Milli Majlis was completely concluded and publication of ballot papers on Con.ECs is started. As considered in Election Code, ballot papers are prepared at least 10 days till the voting day and thereafter the published ballot papers are submitted from CEC to the Constituency Election Commissions, at least 5 days till the voting day and from Constituency Election Commissions to the Precinct Election Commissions, at least 3 days till the voting day.
Protection of process of ballot papers publication is implemented by Special State Protection Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
