The delegation led by Mr. Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan left for the Republic of Kazakhstan to observe the early Presidential Elections to be held in the country on April 26, 2015.

Meetings of Mr.Panahov with his Kazakh colleague, also with officials are planned and discussions on further development of the partnership between the election institutions of the two countries in all fields and other issues of mutual interest are scheduled to be held within the frame of the visit upon the invitation of Mr.Kuandik Turgankulov, Chairman of CEC Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that CEC representatives also participate within OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Commonwealth of Independent States and Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in the observation of the foregoing elections.
