The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared "Guide for the participation of police in Municipal elections” within the education framework of different election actors in the Municipal elections on December 23, 2014.

The Guide prepared jointly with the Ministry of Internal affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is considered for the police. The edition contains thorough information on the roles and duties, as well as, the activities during the fulfillment of the service duties by police during pre-election campaign, on the voting day and in the process of transferring and protecting election documents.

The Guide has been prepared in accordance with the Constitution, Election Code, Law "On Police” and normative acts approved by CEC of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
