Central Election Commission started practical seminars for adviser operators of Constituency Election Commissions

Practical trainings for the adviser operators of Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs) were started at the Central Election Commission on September 30, 2013 for the Presidential elections preparation to be held on October 9, 2013.

According to AzerTaj, head of CEC Secretariat Rovzat Gasimov informed on the first day of the training that all of 125 election constituencies had been drawn optical lines and joined in a local network this year. He stated that a new network version of "Elections” State Automated Information System had been established for transferring, processing, maintenance and publicize of the information operatively, intensively and securely. New local network possesses broad opportunities for ensuring operativeness.

It was emphasized that the goal of the training to be lasted for three days was to provide the operators with practical information on new network version of "Elections” State Automated Information System to use for transferring the information to CEC, to study the rules of usage in visual form and to clarify the questions interesting to them. Operators will obtain practical working experience at these trainings, thus ensuring easy use of the network on Election Day.

Later, head of Information Center under the CEC Secretariat Rufat Gulmammadov informed the participants of the training on the elimination of errors in the voters’ lists, supplying Con.ECs with informational technological equipments, use of CEC information in mobile phones like smart phones and innovations on election network and spoke about technical problems might be encountered in transferring the information.

At the end, questions interesting to the training participants were replied.
