Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) conducted its session by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on October 14, 2004.

Firstly, Mrs. Svetlana Gasimova, CEC Deputy Chairman, Mr. Natig Mammadov and Mr. Vidadi Mahmudov, CEC Secretaries reported on making amendments in the composition of some Constituency Election Commissions (Con.ECs). CEC adopted decision on making amendments in the composition of Con.ECs.

Later, applies entered CEC related to the Municipal Elections appointed on December 17, 2004 were discussed and relevant decisions were adopted on these.

At the session, current issues were also considered.

Representatives of IFES (International Foundation for Election Systems), domestic and foreign mass media participated in the CEC session.
