Central Election Commission (CEC) conducted its following session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov on 5 November 2010.
At the session, the appeals submitted CEC related with 4 November 2010 Elections to the Milli Majlis were considered. As one of the appeals has been submitted by missing the deadline and in one of them, the request has not been clear, they were returned back the applicants, 16 of them were not implemented due to groundlessness, one was sent to the relevant Con.EC on determination for investigation and in one case, as the conflict matter has been settled, it was terminated to be considered.
Furthermore, it was decided to consider the voting results invalid in three precincts on Nasimi second Con.EC # 22, in one precinct on Kapaz (Ganja) second Con.EC # 40, in one precinct on Surakhani second Con.EC # 31, in five precincts on Shaki city Con.EC # 113, in six precincts on Salyan-Neftchala Con.EC # 60, in six precincts on Sabirabad first Con.EC # 63 and in one precinct on Sabunchu first Con.EC # 26 due to the impossibility of determining voters’ will.
At the session, the issue on checking the Con.EC protocols and the documents attached to them in 7 November 2010 Elections to the Milli Majlis was considered. CEC adopted decision on considering the voting results invalid in one precinct on Sabirabad second Con.EC # 64, in one precinct on Fuzuli Con.EC # 84 and in one precinct on Goychay Con.EC # 88 and compiling CEC final protocol of Elections to the Milli Majlis.
At the session of the Commission, current issues were also considered.
At the session, representatives of mass media also took part.
